The first work meeting of the EU Jean Monnet Excellence Centre Programme was held on Haidian Campus on the morning of 30 Dec, 2024. The meeting was chaired by programme leader Prof. Zhang Tong. Members of the programme team including Prof. Liu Wenjie, Prof. Weng Wuyao, A/Prof. Lan Hua, Prof. Guo Zhilong, A/Prof. Prof. Shang Xixue, A/Prof. Cong Yingnan, Dr. Jiang Feng'an, Dr. Wu Yiyue, Dr. Zhang Ying and volunteers Wang Jinni, Han Ziyu and Shi Huiyu attended the meeting.
Zhang Tong first reported on the programme application and contract signing, and provided a detailed explanation of the programme plan and its implementation for the next three years. Jiang Feng'an provided additional explanations on the main activities of the programme. Team members then analysed and discussed the implementation of the programme and the problems it faced.
In the meeting, the members also discussed the daily management system and financial management rules of the programme, and established the programme execution team and programme evaluation team. The successful convening of this meeting laid a good foundation for the smooth implementation of the programme in the future.
